The DTHS math students are noticing some changes in their classrooms this fall. All three rooms have been outfitted with Smart boards, projectors, interactive slates, and document cameras. This will enable teachers to keep an exact file of the class notes to assist students who missed class or struggle with note-taking. In addition, students enjoy interacting with the technology and it serves to get more people actively involved in solving problems and presenting solutions to their classmates. The graphing calculators were also replaced with updated sets, enabling students to borrow technology for use at home. We hope that this investment will help students enjoy the fascinating world of mathematics.
