REDBIRD NEWS:
The Scholastic Bowl A Team won in comeback form against Reed-Custer last night with a final score of 135-105. Scoring toss-up points for the Redbirds were Jack Gettinger and Brendan Reamer each with 20, and Jeshua McCullough added 10. In the B Match, Dwight suffered a tough loss, 90-70. Dakotah Harris led the way with 20 toss-up points and Jeshua McCullough also added 10. Great job to both teams! *Remember there is no match on Thursday this week and we will NOT have practice on Friday morning.
Dwight 7th Grade Volleyball took 3rd place in the IVC Volleyball Tournament. Dwight lost to GSWB in three games, 15-25, 25-19, and 24-26. High scorers are Megan VanAmburgh with 12 points, and Mykayla Cockerham with 7 points. In the second game of the night Dwight defeated MVK to take third place. High scorers are Sydney Christensen with 9 points, and Megan VanAm burgh also with 9 points. Great Job Ladies! The Lady Redbirds will travel to Wenona Fieldcrest on Saturday for the regional contest against Spring Valley.
UPCOMING EVENTS:
6/7/8 boys basketball awards night will be Friday, Feb. 24th at 6:00.
BOOSTER BASH will be held on Saturday, April 14th with the fun beginning at 6:00pm. $100 donation admits 2 adults. Tickets are for sale in the DGS office.
